Lincoln CPO Program
Purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln Vehicle is a smart thing to do. You’ll be getting a vehicle that’s been meticulously inspected and warranted by Ford Motor Company (see your dealer for details). There are other benefits, too.
169-Point Inspection
If a vehicle doesn’t meet our strict criteria, we won’t certify it. It’s that simple. Find out what we check during the rigorous process of certifying a pre-owned vehicle. Download the 169-Point Inspection Checklist.
Comprehensive Warranty
Buying a Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln is a smart decision you should feel confident
about. Every Certified Pre-Owned vehicle comes with extensive limited warranty
coverage,* optional upgrade coverage, comprehensive warranty coverage, as well as
other attractive values. So rest assured that your experience will be all you expect and
more.
Six-year Limited Warranty Coverage
Coverage for all Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln vehicles includes repair or replacement of
covered components for six years from the original Lincoln New Vehicle Limited
Warranty start date or up to 100,000 miles on the odometer, whichever comes first. This
coverage includes parts and labor, but excludes wear and tear items. Each Lincoln
Certified Pre-Owned vehicle has a standard deductible of only $100, so should a repair
be necessary, your costs will be minimal.
Extended Coverage
In addition to the standard six-year/100,000-mile warranty, optional Ford Extended
Service Plan Packages are available to customers seeking extended coverage.
Customers may choose from the following:
- PremiumCare seven-year/100,000-mile coverage or seven-year/75,000-mile coverage
- Vehicle Scheduled Maintenance Plan
Comprehensive Coverage
Lincoln has always been a brand you can trust and respect. That's because we've gone
the extra mile to help ensure your peace of mind. Our limited warranty coverage is an
example of that. The warranty covers more than 500 components, including many hightech
parts, as well as the failure of covered components due to abnormal wear resulting
from defective materials or workmanship, in addition to mechanical break downs. Areas
of coverage include:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Rear-Wheel Drive
- Front-Wheel Drive
- Air Conditioning and Heating
- Brakes
- Steering
- Electrical
- Front Suspension

Deductible
Each Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicle has a standard deductible of only $100, so
should a repair be necessary, your costs will be minimal.
Subsequent Owner Warranty
At any time, should you choose to sell your Pre-Owned Lincoln, the remaining Lincoln
comprehensive warranty coverage remains in effect for the new owner. This further
enhances the resale value of your Certified Lincoln.

Vehicle History Report
Not every vehicle can make the cut as a Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. To
even be considered for certification, each Lincoln must be less than six model
years old and have less than 80,000 miles on the odometer.
After a vehicle has been determined as eligible in terms of age and mileage, a
Vehicle History Report is run to identify any vehicle that does not meet our strict
standards. The report is run as a part of our 169-point inspection process, and it
includes checks for:
- Flood vehicles
- Fire damage
- Frame damage
- Salvage vehicles
- Branded title
- Odometer issues
- Accident history
- Vehicle title history
In addition, you can view the actual Vehicle History Report for a specific vehicle
by simply searching our current inventory now. Or ask for a copy
when you arrive at the dealership.
